The Opposite of Winter Running...
Now, after many months... I am making a new blog! This time around we are dealing with 100s in Missouri just like most of the nation. All I can say is Camelbaks are the summer runners best friend! I will be blogging again...

Winter Running...
Is never easy! I need to get pumped for my 1st half-marathon which is in April!! I am glad I decided to do a half instead of another whole since all the snow on the ground has/will make it hard for me to get very motivated to start training....

Something Yummy!
Our most recent cupcake party:
We took these to a baby shower and of course the kids swarmed them before we had a chance to admire their prettiness!

A Start!
Here is the start to my new blog, duh! Its been a while since I kept up a blog so I'm going to try and do my best at keeping things up to date. Right now my life consists of my internship at the hospital, running and exploring San Antonio. I'm trying to take a lot of pictures, but recently I haven't been going places, doing things too much since I am an unpaid intern! But my goal is to start finding more low cost entertainment to get the most of this experience here in Texas before its time to move on.
Yesterday my roommate and I had a little early morning adventure- the Keep Austin Weird 5k. It was a rainy but fairly warm day. There were a lot of people running in costumes - a team of runners wearing togas, another time with some 'fro wigs, and a guy in a full Tigger costume. It was a really fun event and made me want to spend more time in Austin and explore some of their funky small businesses.
I really enjoyed my new running shoes during the race. Postrace - not so comfy. When I got to the car, I looked down and found some bloody heels. Opps!
